Sunday Night Nibbles

Another crazy weekend filled with kids, walking the dog and seeing friends.  It was a very emotional night here at the house.  Our tortoise, Jay Z, passed on to the tortoise haven in the sky and we were both a little emotional here.  He had integrated himself nicely into the household and I'm not quite sure what happened.  After spending hours consoling my little sensitive thug (had to use the reference in respect!) I was exhausted and not prepared to cook.  I raided the fridge and put together a feast of Sunday night nibbles.  Olives, cheese, pepperoni slices and a couple of chicken sausages seasoned with fontina cheese and garlic.

Perfect Sunday evening dinner and easy as pie.  Just plate up and cook the sausages and you're good to go.

Restaurant Spotlight

Ipuddo, 65 4th Avenue

The greeting when you walk into the dining room is a definite indicator as to how your meal will go; comforting, familiar and soul warming. Every time we go to Ipuddo the meal is the same: Pork buns and Akamaru Modern ramen. The pork is mouth wateringly moist and the creamy ramen broth is unbelievably flavorful. Whether you decide on a quick lunch or a late and lazy dinner, your appetite will thank you.
